Every 2027 Durango is a V-8. The 5.7-liter HEMI in GT HEMI models makes 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft, the 6.4-liter in the R/T 392 family makes 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft, and the supercharged 6.2-liter in the SRT Hellcat produces 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft.

All-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic are standard, and Launch Control comes on the R/T 392 and SRT models, where Dodge quotes 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds for the R/T 392 and 3.5 seconds for the Hellcat. When properly equipped, the GT HEMI tows up to 7,200 pounds, while the R/T 392, the SRT Hellcat and a GT HEMI with Tow ‘n Go tow up to 8,700 pounds, a figure Dodge calls best-in-class.
